Phil Dobson is the founder of BrainWorkshops and author of ‘The Brain Book’.
Phil turns insights from psychological science into practical skills designed for the modern workplace. His talks and workshops offer a toolkit of strategies, backed by scientific research, helping you improve and sustain your performance at work.
Phil specialises in helping people and teams build their resilience, improve their productivity, and develop their creative problem-solving.
Phil’s facilitative approach is made more impactful by his experience as a coach and psychotherapist. His sessions challenge existing practices, transform thinking, and create sustained behavioural change.
He lives in London but works with clients internationally.
Phil is also a keen musician and loves to surf.
Dr David Carr is an Associate Professor in the Division of Emergency Medicine at the University of Toronto. He is an Emergency Physician and Clinical Investigator at the University Health Network and Mackenzie Health Hospital.
He is also the Continuing Professional Development Lead in the Tri-Division of Emergency Medicine at the University of Toronto. He has been the recipients of multiple Undergraduate and Post Graduate Clinical Teaching awards. During the Baseball season, he works at the Roger’s Centre as the Medical director of Stadium Medicine for the Toronto Blue Jays.
In 2010, he pursued his passions serving as an ER physician in the Athletes Village for the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Since 2010, He has co- authored the chapter on Occlusive Arterial Disease in the 7-9th editions of Tintinalli’s Emergency Medicine.
